Shelving the comic.

Posted by FunnyPlush - August 22nd, 2024

So, some more shit happened, and I decided that this was the last straw. It almost feels like some force outside of my control refuses to allow me to return production to the comic, and so, I'm contemplating shelving the comic altogether. What even is the point of working on something you won't get to show in an acceptable format for what feels like an eternity?

Sorry for the unfortunate news, I will still keep drawing the goobers, but I won't be working on the story itself for the time being.

Have some vent art.

It was fun for the time being, but continuing work on this is a sisyphean task.

See you around, and have a good one.

At least we are getting more Tulip content in the future even if the comic is done for now.

I guess

Take the time you need, sometimes you need to step away and give yourself a break before you come back to do even greater things.

I’m guessing that the money for the new PC got used for something else? Worse case scenario, you’ll be able to return to the comic once you’re grown up and out of the house.

The point of making something you don’t get to show is to express it for yourself. Putting your thoughts on paper gets them out of your head, even if you’re not able or comfortable with sending them to the world.

Take a break from being online and just draw stuff for yourself. I don’t want you developing such a dependency on attention from the internet. We’re in the middle of a YouTube gold rush where everyone’s convinced that they can make it big online, but Content Creator TM is not your actual job, nor should it be at your age.

Take a break
Come back when you feel like it
Feel better
